We can change the world

Sustainable development and global responsibility are not the sole task of politics. The interaction of economic growth, social cohesion, effective environmental protection and innovative, advanced technology is the common task of all global actors - of all citizen.
Today global challenges can only be met through cooperation and determination.
Generation 21 is striding new paths towards the sustainable future. Come along!

In cooperation with United Nations Global Compact
UNGC
The UN Global Compact welcomes and supports the international sustainability
fair and conference in Berlin in 2006. We believe that this is a unique opportunity to provide a public forum to good corporate citizenship and sustainable business practices. We belive that Positive Fair can help bridge the gap between the CSR community and the wider public, empowering consumers and other stakeholders to get a better understanding of corporate citizenship. Positive Fair 2006 could indeed help stimulate a much-needed public debate about sustainability issues and their broader societal relevance. It is for these reasons that the Global Compact has decided to become a partner to the Positive Fair 2006.

In cooperation with
Club of Budapest
UNGC
Its our mission to be a catalyst for the transformation to a sustainable world. The view of the Club of Budapest is focused on a cultural consciousness with a global perspective. Our philo-sophy is based on the realization that the enormous challenges that humanity is currently facing can only be overcome through the development of a global cultural consciousness. The Club perceives itself as builder of bridges between science and art, ethics and economy, as well as between the different cultures of the world.

In cooperation with
WWF International
UNGC

We agree with you that WWF International is indeed uniquely positioned to participate in the Positive Fair, given our longstanding record of involv-ement with business and industry and our conceptual approaches to CSR issues and sustainability.

Positive Fair
Sustainability goes Fair
A unique exhibition for sustainability leaders and innovators begins in the heart of Europe. In cooperation
with international partners from business, NGOs and institutions, new standards are set for a systemic communication of sustainable development. The international event aims to empower stakeholders for a more practical understanding of sustainability and CSR, the underlying concepts and strategies and their practical applications. To effectively benefit from the added values of sustainable governance and management, platforms must enable competition, direct interaction, dialogue and participation of the public and media. The Positive Fair provides all this in an energising and enthusiastic forum.

Comprehensive presentation of sustainability: For the first time, the Positive Fair creates a comprehensive, high-quality environment where international sustainability leaders from business, organisations, institutions can effectively and comprehensively communicate 1) their global role and responsibility and 2) their local impact on communities, business and environment. Sustainable development ensures global prosperity by incorporating ecological and social factors thereby decreasing the ecological footprint. Share your visions and show your sustainability solutions in an innovative and professional manner to costumers, partners, employees and to the public.

Positive Fair

The Berlin sustainability and global responsibility fair and conference -
innovation and benchmarking platform for sustainable leaders

The beginning of the 21st century shows far-reaching global changes. The world suffers under the growing pressure of globalisation, climate change, resources and energy issues, toxics and related health issues and demographic change.

Today’s task is to prepare business and society to decidedly meet the challenges of the 21st century while exploring the inherent opportunities of global competition – e.g. in the areas of innovative energy, waste and environmental technologies. Strengthening one’s competitive and innovative edge is a most important condition for successfully taping into the potential of sustainable growth, social justice and more employment.

Improving energy and ecological efficiencies, exploring renewable energies, reducing toxic substances in the environment, reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the mobility and transportation sector, making
efficient use of information and communication technologies are all matters of key importance.

Positive Fair:

The time has come to make a change!

Over the past years, considerable financial resources have been invested in sustainable development. Unfortunately, most of the excellent innovations and achievements made towards sustainability remain broadly unknown to the public. The time has come to make a change! At the Positive Fair pioneers set new standards for the communication of sustainability.

Global competition needs physically events that enable knowledge and information transfer in a direct and effective manner in our knowledge based society. Exhibitions and fairs are increasingly used as effective communication tools, especially considering their very positive cost/ benefit relation and their attractive media resonance.
